Your new workplace
Stöde School is a K-9 school located about a 40-minute drive west of Sundsvall.
The school has around 260 students and an after-school program with nearly 100 children. We are about 40 employees working together in various roles. At Stöde School, we develop together with our eyes on the future – aiming to be a stable and secure knowledge hub for both students and staff. Our organization is characterized by short decision-making paths, joy at work, great commitment, and a strong desire to make an impact. We have a well-functioning student health work where all professions collaborate to ensure every student succeeds.
Your contribution as a teacher in the after-school program
As a teacher in the after-school program, you will be there to support students throughout their school day. A lot of outdoor activities, sports inside and outside, and one-on-one support for very active students are included in the role. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and evaluate activities in the school's after-school program, ensuring that the teaching follows applicable governing documents and goals. In collaboration with the after-school program's work team, you will drive and develop the educational activities – always with the student's best interests in focus, at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone with a degree as a primary school teacher with a focus on after-school programs or a degree in leisure pedagogy. You build strong and good relationships with colleagues, guardians, and students, and actively work to develop the operations. You see opportunities and are solution-oriented in your work. Previous experience working in after-school programs is considered an advantage. Qualifications to teach music, art, sports, or other subject qualifications are also advantageous.
